However his honest book tells the tale of what it is like to be out there, the poor sod on his own, making all the decisions, taking all the blame, enjoying the credit for when things go well, inevitably responsible for when things fail. Paul expected to be last across and says it didn?t bnother him in the slightest? Its enough to be able to say you climbed Everest without having to run up it as well. And this is the sailing Everest ? for me anyway.? This is a great read. Paul write in a light and humorous style that makes the pages skip along.
